However she is better known for being the wife of famous golfer Sergio Garcia. Angela Akins Garcia spent most of her childhood in the darkness. The fact that she was married to a golfer has attracted more recognition. The information regarding the early years of her life are scarce. While it's been proven that she was born around 1985, the exact month and date she was born is not known to the media. Angela Akins Gracia developed a love of sports when she was when she was a child and eventually decided to take up golf. After taking several lessons, Angela Akins Gracia mastered the art of a calm and powerful swing. Over the course of her studies Garcia picked up expertise and took part in eight high school tournaments. Garcia was the captain of Mable Falls the high school team. She led it to 3rd in regional competition in 2003. They then came 6th in 2006 as they were the 6th-placed team. Garcia has been awarded over 17 national medals and belongs to the Women's Texas Golf Association. Garcia began her golf studies at Texas Christain University, where she spent two years of studying prior to moving on to the University of Texas. In the university she was given the chance to play on a bigger scale and her skills grew with time. Angela Akin Garcia chose journalism rather than golf despite experiencing happiness and fulfillment in her playing. She landed her first job after graduation as a Fox Sports Southwest Reporter.
